Love God.
At The City Church, it all begins with loving God. We gather each Sunday to worship, to learn from His Word, and to be encouraged—together—to live out what we believe in our everyday lives. In the rhythm of showing up, growing, and walking alongside one another, we find strength and purpose. It’s God’s love that brings us together, and it’s His love that carries us forward, faithfully, step by step.
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25
Love People.
In Matthew 22, Jesus reminds us that the greatest commandments are to love God and to love people. We live that out by showing up for one another—especially in our weekly small groups, where life is shared, faith grows, and no one walks alone. Whether in times of need or moments of celebration, we choose to be present with each other. And 1 Peter 4 encourages, each of us has been given gifts to share, and we use them with willing hearts—serving with joy, humility, and a desire to lift one another up.

Change the World.
When we love God and love people, something beautiful begins to take root in us—a heart that naturally longs to see lives changed. As we learn and live out His Word together, we encourage one another to walk in His ways and to plant seeds of hope in the hearts of those who are lost, searching, and weary. As willing vessels, we simply make ourselves available—and God’s greatness shines through, bringing light, love, and transformation to the world around us.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20
